movie: UltraViolet

[Last Saturday]

just came back from watching it..

it's colourful.. a lot of action yet intensity wasn't there for the moviegoer.. but basically the director is trying something new here and there..

i honestly felt detached from the story.. storyline got twist but it wasn't the "ooohhh" kinda twist.. too many questions but wasn't presented in a way where viewers felt wanting more.. a lot of cool concepts, gadgets, and ideas though.. but they are overshadowed by the movie's inability to tell the viewers what is actually happening and what is what, who is who.. it's a bit random..

have i already mentioned that the writer and director is of the same person?

if you like filmography like Hero (full of color; blue, green, red, n so on) then you might wanna check it out.. nice corridors, backdrops, and architectures..

do i feel worth watching it? nope..

i can only summed it up with one quote from a well know director, "directing is like playing a toy.. but not all can afford it".. i guess this fella is rich..
