two forces..

Two nights ago, I had something in my mind and I wasn't about to go to sleep until I've wrote it down.
Hope you guys get to enjoy this. Something to think about.
Let me know what you think. It was something like this:

If there are two forces pulling you
You can't always stand on the line
One of these days you are going to fall
The question is this, which side would you fall into?
The chances to fall unto one side depends on you

You have to do your part
Neither of the side stands for the same

One is dark and one is light
One is bad and one is good
One is evil and one is righteous
Choose, for you are about to fall

Do I look 15 to you?

We (mom, Jess, and I) were looking around for our new apartment yesterday. This agent, Anthony, brought us to an apartment in the Rivervalley area. The person working at that place was called Nelson and he showed us around. To be honest, the apartment looks awesome. Especially the one for display purpose. It is filled with artistic expression poured out by their interior designer through the furniture and the setting of the rooms. Very modern and appealing. Somewhere in the process of explaining to us about the apartment the host, Nelson, and I talked briefly about my purpose in Singapore and the reason we are looking to purchase an apartment. I told him I used to study in a Secondary school in Singapore and then continued my University study in Perth, Australia. Before I could go further he stopped me and express, "you study in university? I couldn't have guessed that." This got me excited and quickly I said, "ok, if I haven't told you that I had studied in university, how old do you think I look like?" He became hesitant and then said innocently, "I would have guessed you look like you're around 15 to 16 years of age." Huahuahahaha.. My mom and Jesslyn laughed at his guess. I told him I'm gonna be 25 this year. And said, "guess I should be hanging around the secondary school and hook up with the girls there."

Anyway, we had applied for a phone line for this apartment that we rented through Singtel service along with the Broadband service. However, they can only send their people over to fix it up by this coming Tuesday (07/12) and for the Broadband (07/13). As I was fiddling around with the Airport (Mac's equavalent of WiFi) on my PowerBook I come across a network called BERNARD or at least an internet connection registered under this name. And somehow I could access the net through this line. LOL. So, that's how I could post up this update. Thanks for reading. If you wanna know how come I can look younger than my real age by 10 years difference here's my tips (maybe it might work or not it's just personal opinion): laugh heaps, burps freely, and have Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord. God bless y'all. love, roy

Singapore, here I come..

Today (July 5, 2005) I'll be leaving Medan for Singapore. Still felt too sudden because I just got back from PalangkaRaya roughly a week ago. Anyway, I finally got myself the latest BackStreetBoys album "Never Gone". To be honest, I've been waiting for their album since 2003. I've read an article about them being together again and talks about recording a new album to be released around mid of 2004 when they were invited on the Oprah Winfrey show. Still hasn't arrived and I waited some more. Finally!! it's out and I really enjoy their new sound (while they still retain their individual vocals personality). And yes, to answer all your questions and remarks.. I do love boybands!! there you go.. I simply appreciate their vocal skills and harmony (ps. looks does help but thats not what I am after, just so you know). Anyway, for those who manage to get hold of the BSB's latest album "Never Gone" I just wanna say, enjoy it!! My fav at the moment are 'Poster Girl' and 'Siberia'. Take care.. peace, roy.
