personal - The O.C.

OK, how many of you have not heard about "The O.C." yet? if you have no clue what the O.C. is, my question for you would be, "where have you been all this while?". I mean, seriusly, the O.C. is like the most happening thing that is taking place right now in the world of television. You have got to know what the O.C. is and why are people going crazy about it. And for those first timer to the world of the O.C., I would like to say, "welcome to the O.C. &^%t#!". Sorry.. sorry.. I got carried away with that (or just trying to sound like Luke.. oh well).

Today, as I was driving, the radio announcer mentioned about the O.C. and the funny thing is this lady, one of the DJ, does not like the O.C. at all. She said how her girl friend would tune her out because she does not want to be distracted while the show is on and will only talk to her during the commercial break. hahahaha.. sad to say, I behave in this manner as well. I mean, why would a person (in particular for an O.C. fan) would like to be distracted in the middle of the show? That would be crazy. And more than that, her room mate actually planned to invite all her friends (the O.C. fans) to come over and watch the show together at their place. That infuriates her even more. hohoho..

Not surprisingly, the official website of the O.C. also encourages for their fans who watch the O.C. together to contact them so that they could come over for the 'party' (as they watch the O.C.) and interview them. Too bad they might not come over for the fans who live down-under. Then again, I wouldn't care so much, as the O.C. has already created quite a hype among the faithful television viewers. Finally, to all the O.C. fans out there, "keep supporting the O.C. and don't forget to vote the O.C. for favourite drama!!"

jroy theory - you will treat stranger better

It is quite funny if we observe carefully, that often time we will automatically treat those around that are quite new to us better than those that are already close to us. Why do we behave in such a way? Is it because we are more comfortable to be who we are around our family, close friends, or even certain colleagues? Or is it because we have the tendency to try and create a better image for those that are quite new to us so that the perception can diminish over time?

You can say that I am very much a creature that operate in this sort of way. Whether I realize it or not, somehow I will try and create a better image of myself when trying to give the first impression to a stranger. This got me thinking.. "was it because of this that I got tired of getting to know newer people? 'Cos I could not really be myself at all?" Anyway, it's just something for you guys to ponder about. And plus, it is a theory that I very much believe in.. so there you go.

"How" by Guy Sebastian (lyrics)
..I gotta know how, how does it feel to be loved by you
I gotta know how, just how it feels to be touched by you..

picture - have you seen her?

Dear diary,

Today, as I continue on with the investigation into the recent case that was assigned to me, I was still not able to find a single clue as to the mysterious disappearance of a piece of priceless jeweleries that was stolen from the precinct of Madame Bouvier's house. It could be said that this is very much a disappointment for me as I would have expected some kind of progress by today. It had been three days since I took up this case. I ended up taking a break in the middle of windy but yet hot Wednesday afternoon inside a Dome cafe. Taking a sip from my cup of mocha, I suddenly realised that there was a piece of information that I had neglected.

Without wasting anymore time, I quickly looked into the file was with me. It has always been in my briefcase which I carried around while doing my investigation. I make sure the information that I was looking for was still there inside the confidential folder. It took me quite sometime before I manage to sort all the files and determine which are the key information that I can work on.

Finally, after tracing and putting all the pieces of puzzle together I concluded that there is a lead in my hand. The passport that coincidentally discovered two days ago near the location where the item suddenly disappeared could actually be a clue for me to work on to further this investigation. I was shocked to discover, by this evening, that she had flew off from this country (Australia). Apparently, the officers that were working in the airport saw her boarding a plane yesterday. Fortunately, according to her passport I know that her name is geraldine. Who is she? Where is she from? How is she related to this case? I only wish I could grab hold of her and get more details in regard to the missing jeweleries.

I am hoping that this case would be closed as soon as possible. However long it takes, whether in a couple of weeks time or even four months time (if there is a need for it). I am just going to be glad to know that I could get a good night sleep after this whole ordeal has been put behind me. Until then, I will be searching far and wide for more clues and am very determined to finally solve this whole mystery.

Signing off, detective jroy..
