my Singtel prepaid card was out of credit recently.. this is what the recording says when i inquire of the balance:

"sorry, currently you have no value.."
what de?!?!


note: this is my 100th post!! yey!! who would have thought i would made it this far in blogging.. -_-v

you see, i was on my way back from the service. riding on bus 32. halfway down the road i suddenly noticed a pair of glasses on the floor near the exit door of the bus. looks like those worn by an elderly. seems to me nobody noticed it. so i try to ignore it.. but i can't. i ask God that if the people who got on the bus from this up-coming stop does not notice it, then i'll do something about it. there were a number of people getting onto the bus, mind you. but alas, none of them took notice of it. so i had to carry out my end of the bargain. i tell ya, God's timing can never be more perfect. before reaching the next bus stop we came to a red light. i simply grab the glasses and walk up to the driver. mentioning to him that somebody must have dropped it accidentally near the bus exit. i walk back up to my seat. heart felt lighter. i've done my part. the bus start to move again. only after that did the Lord reveal to me another thought. if i were to lose one of my items, i would certainly want somebody (like me) to notify it to the person in charge. so that i could go back to where i lost it and find it.


note: remember to pray for auntie marie as she's in a hospital..

Rev. Dr. Ulf Ekman is in town for three days in City Harvest Church to conduct a Revival Conference..
so.. what have i learned today?

i need to "be a man of all SEASON"!!

Mathematics at its Best

Ever wonder about people who say they are giving more than 100%? We have all been in situations where someone wants you to give over 100%.

From a strictly mathematical viewpoint:
What equals 100%?
What does it mean to achieve MORE than 100%?

Here's a simple mathematical formula that might help you answer these questions:

If:
A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z

Is represented as:
1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 5%, 6%, . . . . .etc. . . . . . . .to . . . . . 26%

Then:
K - N - O - W - L - E - D - G - E
11+14+15+23+12+5+4+7+5 = 96%

and
H - A - R - D - W - O - R - K
8+1+18+4+23+15+18+11 = 98%

and,
A - T - T - I - T - U - D - E
1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5 = 100%

Therefore, one learns with mathematical certainty that:
While Hard work and Knowledge will get you close,
to 100%, Attitude will get you there.

Look how far the love of God will take you;

Consider this;
It's the Love of God that will put you over the top to

i went to Alexander Post Office to pay the phone bill just now. it's about 10-15 minutes walk from my place. despite my legs being still in pain from all the jumping during the weekend services i still got to go because today is the due date. as i was walking i noticed a few drops of rain started to pour down on my shirt. i looked up and saw grey clouds moving on top of me towards the direction i am walking. strangely enough, apart from that grey cloud all other clouds were away from it and looks quite plain. no sign of them raining down. it dawn on me. of the time the people of Israel coming out of Egypt. the Lord walk before them as a cloud in the day and a pillar of fire at night. the cloud is to give them shades against the heat of the sun. as the rain started to pour down a little bit heavier i can feel a bit of breeze and coolness. just as when the Holy Spirit is moving and raining down on us during praise and worship. it is refreshing. but at one point i need to walk in a slightly different direction in order to reach the post office. the cloud no longer shading me. the heat of the day started to creep on me. no more rain. what was the revelation that i get? i can only pose one question from this. it is not a question about is resting under the shade a good thing or simply bearing the heat is what we should settle for. my question is, when the cloud - the presence of God - is moving, will you move along? some might be comfortable at where they're at. some might be glad for what they got back then and dwell on them. but i don't want to be as those who died in the desert nor crawling back to Egypt. my answer is only one. i choose to walk with God. when He move, i move. times of refreshing is in His presence. Lord, let your Spirit rain down on me. always.

just got back from Sat 5pm service at Expo.. Delirious? is in town and they were ministering in CHC.. only one word to describe it.. it was DELIRIOUS!!.. i was jumping til my feet hurt (now there's some nostalgia).. but ironically coming back from the service i neither bought music CDs nor posters (since i've been faithful and have already bought their CDs when it came out hot off the press).. i actually bought three books!! must be a good sign on achieving one of my resolution goal for 2006 for intelligence need.. the books were CIC and CL for my Bible Study purpose, and "Christ the Lord: out of Egypt" by Anne Rice.. i believe i'm gonna enjoy the novel.. and now.. it's time to rest my feet..

note: so hungry.. better eat dinner soon..
